GDPR:

According to Article 13(1) and (2) of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation or "GDPR"), we hereby inform you that:

  1. The administrator of your personal data is the entity offering the complaint products or services.

  2. Your personal data will be processed for the purpose of considering your complaint regarding defects found in the purchased product/service, based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR (performance of a warranty agreement), or based on Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR (in case of claims arising from statutory warranty). Additionally, your data will be processed for the purpose of maintaining a register of complaints, according to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (legitimate interests pursued by the data supervisor), as well as for correspondence and communication during the complaint handling process.
  3. The recipients of your personal data will be:
    1. IT companies specializing in computer hardware, electronic information and document flow systems, and software maintenance,
    2. law firms,
    3. courier companies,
    4. service providers for handling reported complaints,
    5. a company specializing in document destruction,
    6. entities operating within the corporate group,
    7. only entities authorized to obtain personal data based on legal provisions or entities cooperating in the complaint handling process, where such entities will process the data solely on the basis of a contract with the data supervisor and strictly in accordance with the data supervisor's instructions.
  4. Your personal data will be kept until the expiration of the warranty or statutory warranty claims period. As for the register of complaints maintained by the data supervisor, your data will be stored until you object to the processing of personal data for this purpose (up to a maximum of 10 years).
  5. Subject to the conditions specified in the GDPR, you have the following rights:
    1. the right to request from the data supervisor access to your personal data, their rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and the right to data portability.
    2. the right to object, including profiling, to processing based on the legitimate interests pursued by the data supervisor.
    3. the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (President of the Personal Data Protection Office) if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation.
    4. your data will not be subject to automated profiling.
    5. the provision of your personal data is voluntary, but necessary for the proper handling of your complaint.
